CHRISTIANS KNOW WHO WE ARE:

I am God's child (John 1:12)

I am Christ's friend (John 15:15)

I am united with the Lord (1 Cor. 6:17)

I am bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:19-20)

I am a saint (set apart for God). (Eph. 1:1)

I am a personal witness of Christ (Acts 1:8)

I am the salt & light of the earth (Matt. 5:13-14)

I am a member of the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27)

I am free forever from condemnation (Rom. 8: 1-2)

I have my citizenship reserved in heaven (Phil. 3:20)

I am free from any charge against me (Rom. 8:31-34)

I have access to God through the Holy Spirit (Eph 2:18)

I am a minister of reconciliation for God (2 Cor.5:17-21)

I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Eph. 2:6)

I am established, anointed, sealed by God (2 Cor.1:21-22)

I cannot be separated from the love of God (Rom.8:35-39)

I am assured all things work together for good (Rom. 8: 28)

I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit (John 15:16)

I may approach God with freedom and confidence (Eph. 3: 12)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Our Sympathy

The Northeast Conference has lost two solid Christian believers as of last Sunday (27th) – both of whom were members of our Dayton church while I was pastoring from 1969 to 1976.  I was able to attend both services this week.

IONA CHILDS (73 / Dayton Ohio) – wife of Ralph Childs who is very well known in our churches around the country because of his concert and teaching tours in the 1970s.  Services were last Friday.

BRUCE RUNYAN (89 / Piqua Ohio) a faithful and devoted husband to his wife, Dorothy, and loving father to his children and a humble servant of His Lord.  Services were Thursday.

"Lord," Martha said to Jesus, "if you had been here, my brother would not have died.  But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask." Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." Martha answered, "I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives [is alive at His return] and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."

(John 11:21)

TODAY WE OBSERVE the communion service.  If you believe implicitly in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, have been immersed in the waters of baptism, are earnestly looking forward to the return of Jesus to establish God’s Kingdom upon this earth, and are seeking to live in accordance with the gospel message so as to bring forth the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance – Gal. 5:22,23), you are invited to partake of the communion emblems with us this morning.

PASTOR CAIN plans to print a new church directory soon. Please provide him with address, phone # or e-mail changes.  It helps if the information is on paper.  Thanks.

VICKI PHILLIS’ PET scan caused the doctors to want further diagnosis so a procedure was done last Tuesday – waiting for results. ― Rick Phillis, 5-24-07

“Hi Rex – Just wanted to send you a big thank you for your church bulletins we have received over the years.  You have so many good messages in them and we hear about some of our other church families in your prayer concerns.  Now that we have e-mail we’re enjoying receiving weekly newsletters also.  Keep up the good work.

Crowds Wowed by Creation Museum Grand Opening

A report on OneNewsNow.com reads: "First time visitors to Creation Museum say they're impressed with the attention to detail and God-honoring exhibits. The 60,000 square foot museum features animatronic displays, a replica of a portion of Noah's Ark and a planetarium, all designed to bring the Bible to life. Ohio resident Nancy Mary said the museum exceeded her expectations. 'I like the way they wove the quotes from the Bible through the exhibits. And the exhibits just illustrate what is stated so plainly in Scripture. That's what really stood out to me,' she said. Michigan residents Ray Ogden and his son Alex were also impressed. 'Mainly I think what was impressive was the extreme focus on the Gospel message as the core meaning of the whole operation and not just meant to wow you with special effects, but to get across the message that the Bible is God's Word and there's a purpose for existence.' 'It's probably the best place I've been to in my entire life,' 10-year-old Alex Ogden said... [Answers in Genesis] officials expect more than 250 thousand visitors annually to the Creation Museum."
